Well Cooked: Zucchini Spaghetti

Everyone loves spaghetti and almost everyone feels guilty and/or bloated after eating it. My philosophy is that since life is so short, enjoy your meals... But if you want a longer life, add the nutrients.
In the second video of Well Cooked, Kaiti and I make zucchini spaghetti! I have a secret… I do not like zucchini. However, when it is made with seasonings and pasta sauce I love it! I enjoy cooking for my family but it is very hard when I have the pickiest eaters as siblings but for some reason they eat and like zucchini spaghetti. That makes me happy because of all the great benefits that zucchinis have.
Benefits of This Meal
Zucchini contributes to healthy digestion, it may aid in weight loss, improve heart health, reduce blood sugar levels, strengthen your vision, and is high in antioxidants.
Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and healthy fats. It may help protect the body from cellular damage that may lead to heart disease. As I say in the video, 1 tbsp of olive oil is enough to get your recommended amount of Omega-9s for the day. Omega-9s are nonessential (your body can make them) but can contribute to reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke, increase energy, and improve your mood.

As a reminder, these videos are to help you get outside of your comfort zone in the kitchen. I make meals that a person wouldn’t usually try or may be too timid to try. I will let you know if the food I make is good or not. There is absolutely no lying here.
