Pumpkin Protein Shake

As we are in the middle of the best season there is, fall, I have been in the spirit to make more fall recipes. I used to look forward to pumpkin shakes every fall growing up. As a family, we would end our day of apple picking and go to a fast-food restaurant for pumpkin shakes. Looking back now, I wouldn’t dare treat myself to one because of the unhealthy ingredients and insane amount of sugar added.
Treating yourself to a processed dessert should not be frowned upon or make you feel bad about yourself. It is all about balance. My mindset is: If I’m going to treat myself, why not choose the healthiest options?
With this in mind, and my dad mentioning all week how he needed a pumpkin shake, I decided to create my rendition! My first thought was, “How do I make a pumpkin shake as delicious as the ones made with all of the added sugar?” Then, I wanted to go a step further and see how I could make the shake beneficial and nutritious. With this in mind, I was able to get a winning Pumpkin Protein Shake Recipe that I know you will love. It is even approved by my 15-year-old brother, who just might beat a 4-year-old as the pickiest eater.
This recipe is giving you protein, antioxidants, and vitamin A! And the best part is that it tastes like a special occasion treat!
