12 Ways to Improve Mental Health

Quarantine has taken a toll on everyone’s mental health. It can be hard to think more positively and stay motivated to reach your goals during all of the uncertainty. There are days that I am writing to-do lists of what I want to accomplish but there are also days that I have zero motivation and lay in bed watching Netflix.
During the days of lost motivation, feeling scared or sad I have found ways that have helped improve my mental health. Below are 12 ways that have worked for me. I hope they work for you as well.
Go outside
Exercise
Eat healthy, nutritious foods
Write down what you want to accomplish that day
Write down 3 things that you are grateful for
Clean your space
Call a friend
Take a break
Do something creative
Listen to happy music
Have an inspiring reminder nearby
Remind yourself of your worth
