12 Ways to Improve Mental Health


Quarantine has taken a toll on everyone’s mental health. It can be hard to think more positively and stay motivated to reach your goals during all of the uncertainty. There are days that I am writing to-do lists of what I want to accomplish but there are also days that I have zero motivation and lay in bed watching Netflix. 


During the days of lost motivation, feeling scared or sad I have found ways that have helped improve my mental health. Below are 12 ways that have worked for me. I hope they work for you as well.  


  1. Go outside

  2. Exercise

  3. Eat healthy, nutritious foods

  4. Write down what you want to accomplish that day

  5. Write down 3 things that you are grateful for

  6. Clean your space

  7. Call a friend

  8. Take a break

  9. Do something creative

  10. Listen to happy music

  11. Have an inspiring reminder nearby

  12. Remind yourself of your worth
